As an author, I’m thrilled to share my stories with you and Evernight helps make my books shine! Here’s one reason why I love Evernight Publishing:

It was about this time last year when I first heard about Evernight Publishing.
I'd finally finished my book, and was looking for the right people to help me publish Sugarwater Ranch. The name Evernight kept coming up in conversations I had with various author friends.

Everyone I knew who’d had experience with Evernight gave the company rave reviews.

Now it’s my turn to give out rave reviews.

The day I opened an e-mail from Evernight saying they wanted to publish my book I was sitting in a local coffee shop. To say the other customers were surprised when I gave a cowgirl whoop and danced around my table, is an understatement.

Since that day, I’ve had even more cause to dance. My editor, Cheryl, did a bang up job of finding ways to make my manuscript better, and Sour Cherry Designs came up with a terrific cover.

On April 26, 2013, I became a published author thanks in no small part to the professionals at Evernight Publishing.

Happy Third Birthday, Evernight! Here’s hoping for many more.

  7. Aww, I loved your story about your Evernight publishing experience. Congratulations, and I wish you many more dances around the table.

As for your question, the simple answer is never. And yet, how many books have I read where there's been a rodeo, and I feel like I've been to hundreds. Don't tell me that was all fiction! ;)

Thanks so much for being part of the hop and for your giveaway!

  11. Wow, I don't think I can remember! It's been that long, more than 10 years I would say, however last weekend I did watch a Bull Riding competition on TV, does that slightly count ;)

    1. Bull riding definitely counts here. After all Sugarwater Ranch is all about a bull rider. I love the PBR, too.

  14. A year isn't too long. We don't have any winter rodeos up here, lots of team ropings and barrel races, so I go about 6 months without attending one.

  15. I haven't actually been to a rodeo...but I did get to see some really cool barrel racing practice a couple of weeks ago :) I love horses and cowboys :)
    Happy Birthday Evernight!!

  20. I took my kids to the rodeo and they absolutely loved it. We live in Fort Worth and try to make it to as many as we can. I want to get the kids involved in it but I dont know if Im ready for that.

  21. Having your kids rodeo is nerve-wracking, but it is a great sport for them. It teaches responsibility. Glad to meet another rodeo fan.

  22. Gotta admit I have never seen a rodeo. The closest I came to one is by reading and I always felt like I was right there. Thank you for participating in the hop and congrats to your success.
